TERMS — STAGING DRAFT

Scolentra staging terms

These draft terms support product testing only. They require professional legal and commercial review before a real paid pilot.

Staging environment

Scolentra staging is a test environment. Users must use fake identities and test information. Staging behaviour, pricing and operational workflows may change during QA.

Accounts

Parents/carers, tutors and adult learners may create their own accounts. Child learner profiles are created and managed by a parent/carer in the current release. Users are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and providing accurate test information.

Tutor approval

Tutor applications are reviewed before a public tutor profile can appear. Approval may be limited to specific subjects and levels. Scolentra may pause new bookings or suspend teaching access while a safety or quality concern is investigated.

Bookings and payments

The current staging booking workflow tests lesson requests, acceptance, pricing, cancellation outcomes and tutor earnings records. Real Stripe payment, refund and payout transactions are not connected yet. No staging booking should be treated as a real paid service.

Cancellations and attendance

Staging currently models cancellation bands and attendance/no-show outcomes. Final consumer terms, refund wording and payment treatment must be aligned with the approved payment/VAT/agency structure before a live pilot.

Communication and professional boundaries

For under-18 tutoring, communication should stay on Scolentra. Users must not use the platform to solicit private phone numbers, private email, WhatsApp, social-media contact or unapproved private meetings.

Safety and reporting

Parents and tutors can report lesson-linked concerns. Scolentra separates ordinary service complaints, conduct concerns and safeguarding matters. Serious concerns can result in restricted evidence review, paused bookings or teaching suspension.

Live classroom

Live video is booking-linked and time-limited. Recording and transcription are not active in the current staging build. Users must not be told that a lesson is being recorded when it is not.

Reviews and content

Reviews are linked to completed attended lessons. Users should not publish unnecessary child information, contact details, school information or sensitive personal information in review text or messages.

Final legal terms

Company identity, payment architecture, VAT/agency treatment, consumer rights wording, governing-law wording and final liability provisions must be professionally reviewed before the real closed pilot.

Not live commercial terms

This staging draft exists so the product can be QA-tested. It must not be presented as final legal advice or final customer terms.
